Hadley Acres is a full-service 5,500 sq.ft. dog training and care facility located in Hadley, Michigan. Hadley Acres offers a full range of training classes from puppy classes to advanced level training for recreation, dog sports, and competition. Hadley Acres is committed to helping you build an enjoyable relationship with your dog. The training offered by Hadley Acres is designed to build your confidence as a trainer and the confidence of your dog while realizing your dog's full potential. In our classes, we will give you techniques that will enhance your relationship with your dog and gain your dog's respect for you as a leader. The goals of our training are to help you enjoy your relationship with your dog and to have a well-trained and obedient dog.

TRAINING CLASSES
Hadley Acres offers classes in Puppy thru Advanced Obedience, Novice thru Excellent Rally Obedience, Puppy thru Advanced Agility, Flyball, Leadership, Recall, and Agility workshops, Conformation and Jr Handling, Weight Pull, and Canine Good Citizen classes. The Owner and Head Trainer, Daphne Stover specializes in Dog packing and socialization play by managing her doggie daycare and kennel. Daphne offers in kennel training and dog behavior consultations in our kennel or at your home. She also offers free training sessions to rescue workers and foster parents.

AGILITY
Hadley Acres has State of the Art Agility training equipment for competing in all major agility venues, AKC, UKC, CPE and USDAA. In addition to the 5,500 sq. ft. full-service dog training and care facility, a 1,000 sq. ft. outdoor training area is planned for the summer of 2009.

First Aid Workshops:
The course covers basic assessments, choking, breathing emergencies, CPR, heat and cold emergencies and shock. It also goes over immobilizing injuries for transport to the vet (like how to immobilize a dog who\'s been hit by a car and you suspect internal injuries. Poison control information and Oakland county parks information on  Michigan Rattlesnakes.
You will be working on actually dummies and will receive a booklet from the Red Cross.  Dates:

 Sunday Sept 26th 2-5pm

CPE AGILITY GAMES SEMINAR: Saturday Sept 25th 9am to 4pm $120 working,  auditing $30
This seminar is limited to 6 working participants and 5 auditing spots. 
All aspects of CPE agility games will be covered including rules, how to play the game, faults, titling requirements.  You will be able to play each game a couple of times and ask questions as needed.    Dogs should be under off lead control and have attended at least 1 advanced agility class somewhere….You do not have to be trialing yet… Games covered:  Fullhouse, Jackpot, Snooker, Jumpers, Wildcard, Colors, And Standard if time….  Please call or email to sign up, a $50 deposit is required to hold a working spot in the seminar.
